Yep the Maccas Shop Small offer showed up on my card...

At worst if the location doesnt accept it I think you can still use the mymaccas app. Works fine.

I would reach out to McDonald's HQ on this. I would imagine their franchise agreements (which include the payment app and the consistent terminals at all locations) mandate that a local franchisee can't disable a standard payment channel.

Which I did and their response was "American Express is something our owners absolutely stand with and use themselves. We are currently working with our IT helpline to try and get this resolved as soon as possible and I will email again to let you know when this is fixed". However, they never emailed a second time.

As an aside, a week travelling in the SA wine regions did wonders for our QF PC requalification. Pretty much all wineries that took AMEX we’re on Shop Small.

You can get spend more than once at the same merchant and still get the bonus points each time.

Yep. Got the bonus points all the time with our favourite small merchants

No coughulative tally of Shop Small points earned. The best option I've found is PDF statements where points are grouped at the end, but even then I need to manually keep a tally across statements

Would appreciate a live tally, but a monthly email is a step in the right direction. Oddly I didn't receive anything of the sort for the QF Ultimate, which is the card I've been trying to use for Shop Small transactions

Funnily enough I received this for my QF Ultimate but not my Plat Charge.

A bit daft sending emails out with everyone's tally to the end of May 31 when four weeks have passed since then!

Also received the email from only one card registered for Shop Small (MR) - zip from my Qantas card, which like others, is what I've been trying to use for Shop Small.

Found out today that AusPCMarket.com.au are part of Shop Small, whether they know it or not.



Could be a good earner if anyone need to buy technology. Prices are reasonable.

I’m trying to go easy. Just ticked over PC again, so hope to get the balance (~30k) from August onwards in the new QFF year. Plus I’ve another AMEX card that has another 40k to go!

Though I am keeping all my Amex points on the Amex account and will be for as long as I need to use up all my KF points.The beauty of not having to go with QFF.

But today I noticed 4x30 "shop small credits" (not sure if that was even for a purchase a made)
But a day later for 2 x30 "shop small returns"
Not sure why i would get credited points for a "return"

I often feel that I’m a bad AFF’r when I swipe my healthfund Hicaps card *before* paying on CC (can’t help myself!). It’s especially traumatic now when my dentist and Physio are on Shop Small and I get 80% back on extras….

yeah digi dont have a lot of IT stuff.
my keyboard was 15% cheaper at digi, than AusPC.
