New Amex statement credits

Has anyone pulled the trigger on the Boccacio deal and successfully paid online and received credit. I think I read somewhere that someone went into the store in person but I have not seen an online credit success??

Unfunkable tried and nope, online transaction didn't trigger anything. However, he's able to sweet talk Boccacio into processing them offline and he got his credit/email pronto.

I've just done the same thing (and received instant credits). Stefano at boccaccio dot com dot au is who I contacted and he was great.

Correct - unfunkable posted his actions here: http://www.australianfrequentflyer....x-statement-credits-62256-93.html#post1597736

Bought something from Mwave last year during the $40 credit promo, had an issue with Mwave and ended up with a refund 2 weeks ago. The $40 credit stayed. So it might be safe to assume once the promo is over and done with then refunds aren't tracked any longer to trigger retraction of the credit.

very interesting mini2

It worked for me last time they were part of this promotion. As mentioned by another user, you pay on collection or, at least, that is what I do. They were also happy to split payment across multiple cards.

Took this offer up and worked exactly as you mentioned. They were more than happy to split payments (across 3 amex cards) so quite happy with the $60 back on a $300 purchase.

Just fired up the ingogo deal, as Qantas just sent an email advising 250 QFF points for each of the first 4 bookings. So an easy 750 points and $20 off, as I'm off to Perth and have 3 trips that will each be more than $20. Love stackable deals.

How do/did you get the $20 off?

Edit: Never mind. I see the Amex cash back offer now.

Mrs andye needed a few things from Trenery for our upcoming trip. Very pleased with the 2x $40 statement credits on top of the current sale. Instant email confirmations

just wondering did you/your wife bought > $280 to get 2x $40 ?

$320: boots, mules and trousers :)
Weather in NY and Niagara likely to be cooler than we are currently accustomed to

Amex US statement credits are getting back to normal now. I have around 80 active offers at the moment (most of them are useless though). Last year I normally had about 80 to over 100 and went down to 40-60 early this year.

Hope Amex AU follows. One good thing about no decent offers this year is I have more $$$ in my savings.
