This could be a problem if Amex are able to tell the difference between a prepaid booking and paid at the Hotel Front Desk.

Thoughts?

I don't know the answer to this, but thanks for pointing it out. Was going to book hoping to use this offer. Might need to check to see if the cancelable rates with the cash back offer, make this worthwhile. If not, I'll just book pre-paid and see what happens.

Check your card offers guys, no manual link I think, since it is not showing up on amexconnect.

Hi Foggy, what type of card do you have? I have all except the TUMI one which I'm wondering is either card specific or targeted.

I cant see the TUMI deal, but the others are on Amex Connect, together with a Dimmi restaurant offer that requires "syncing" your card rather than enrolling.

Haven't stayed at a Hyatt for quite a while actually QF WP. I really like The Lakes Resort in Adelaide and I don't need a hotel in Perth, Melbourne or Sydney.
Last Hyatt was in SFO quite a while ago.
We do eat at the Hyatt in Perth which is about 15 minutes from home.

Actually if you park in the express meet and greet area at Sydney International you get 15 mins for FREE. After that be prepared to extend your mortgage.

Only provided the queue to get out does not take you over the time limit. Dropped off someone and was into the queue within 4 minutes of entering the area. Queue took 18 minutes, "discussion'" with machine speaker took another 8 or 9 and then 10 minute wait for someone to walk from office.

NOT HAPPY!

Reporting on the Hilton offer. Booked last night a pre-paid rate for the HBNE for next month. Received the following email

"Thank you for using Amex Offers with your Card ending *****at HILTON HOTELS & RESORTS. If your purchase meets the offer terms, you will receive a $120.00 credit. Credits usually take 5 days to appear on your account upon completion of your qualifying transaction, but may take up to 90 days after the offer has ended. "

Transaction is still showing as pending and no sign of the cash back yet. Will update again in a few days.

Sushi Hub : Spend $20 get $10 back ( 2 times)
Saved this offer to both my primary and supplementary Amex Velocity cards.

Headed off to Sushi Hub Bankstown (the store was listed on the T&C's) to buy $80 worth of their product only to be told "we don't accept Amex....Sorry". Spent 20 minutes showing the owner of the store the offer etc....no dice. Also called Sushi Hub Bass Hill and got the same story.

Called Amex and reported the issue. Great customer service and within a minute the agent had organised a goodwill statement credit to the value of the 4 x $10 credits I would have received if we took up the offer.

SIL just called as he had taken up the offer on 3 cards and is currently in the middle of being given the run around after initially being told by the customer service agent "it's not really our problem"

What a joke, although at least Amex gave you the credits.

I checked out my nearest Sushi Hub and noted they had an Amex sign up so hopefully I'll be OK.
