New Amex statement credits

On my Edge and Explorer today

Microsoft
Spend $500 or more, get $100 back
Save the offer to your eligible Card and spend $500 or more, in one or more transactions, online or in-store at Microsoft by 13/11/2017 to receive one $100 credit. Limited to the first 10,000 Cards to save the offer. Exclusions apply.

This offer landed on all our cards. Slightly too late to be of use though, since we just ordered a Surface Pro and Type Cover. Oh well, I suspect the prices we got from Ebay were better than $100 off the MS web site.

I doubt they sell gcs although I will get my wife to check (she is a frequent visitor). Regardless 60% is a great return.

They advertise gift cards on their website. $50 ones. Perfect.

I don't see anything in the T&C's about not buying gift cards.

I should have made myself clearer as indeed Dr Ralph did - third-party gift cards. If they sold Coles-Myer cards for example, the offer has much wider appeal.

I had a look at the Flower Power website. Anyone in the market for a little webber bbq or a whipper snipper (or plants even!) gonna love that deal.

After using the Hilton offer last week, it disappeared from my "saved offers" so had to go back into the general offers page (kindly posted upthread - some pages back) to hopefully re-load onto my card. Anybody else have this issue?

Flower Power group are customers. I have worked in wholesaling for more than 40 years so naturally I do seek the lowest possible price.
I view the frequent flyer points game as getting to the wholesale price on flying best available.

Are there two different offers currently running of $20 and $40 back from HelloFresh or the second email I got was typo?

It wouldn't be any good for me living in Tas, or Buzz living in SA, or Captain Haliday in Darwin, or Cove in WA....... not everyone

Ah I see. Like the AFL, it appears my and AmEx's inclusion policy needs work. Will do better next time. Well, I willl. Can't say same of AmEx or AFL.

There was only one offer and it was advertised as spend $50 get back $20 up to 5 times. I suspect it's actually get back $20 for every $50 you spend up to a max of $100.

Was one of your orders >$100 and the other $50-$100?

I have been getting a box each week for $109 and have gotten back $40 each time. The only time this didn't occur was on the 3rd week when I received $20 back. Made me suspect what I posted above so I changed the billing card to one of my supp cards that I had also registered and got $40 the next week. Two weeks later I changed to another supp card again to make sure I got the full $40 back.

Happened to a Westfield offer once. Only realised it disappeared after spending but was too late as enrolment exhausted.

All my orders were the same amount - $71.95 (4 meals for 2 ppl) and from the same card, that's why it was surprising to receive different cashbacks.

Well I can't explain that one and throws my theory out as well. $40 is better than $20 though so I suspect neither of us is complaining! :D
