I also only look at Hotels. Think they are just as competitive, if not better, in most instances. Also seems to help me get upgrades if I book directly.
I guess David Jones no longer participates now. Last year on this day [SYD] AmEx Statement Credits: David Jones Sydney, Taronga Zoo, Sydney Ferries and Light Rail, Mobile WalletsBoth these offers are advertised by Amex as part of Vivid Sydney.

Yes I agree. I did make good use of the Sony spend 600 get 200 back though. Used up all 25.Recent offers are nothing special any more. The good old Harvey Normal, Microsoft etc were more attractive.
Langtons - Spend $200 or more, get $50 back
I know @Wozza has - maybe @Delectable Blue has as wellHas anybody been to a Langton's event before? Would be keen to hear what they are like.

Carpe diem sales? Usually towards the end of the month. But not necessarily every month nor necessarily as generous as previous sales. Is there any predictability as to when those short term (couple of hours) Langtons sales occur?
Can get some good value on those, which could be further enhanced with the Amex credit.
