New Amex statement credits

New offers;

Luxury Escapes - 300 / 60
I remember someone posting that he bought a whole stack of LE GCs with an Amex offer, and there was a way he could link them all together in his LE account to make one payment :) . Can somone please point me to that thread or tell me how this is done?

I recall that as well.

Likely it was discussed in this thread. Was @blackcat20 from memory. Suggest you try a search.

Also detailed instructions about the process here:

And manual link for the Luxury Escapes offer:

Add trip to cart, Add gift card at check out, exit, then repeat till all gift cards are loaded.

Hi If I recall you buy the gift card and apply it to a deal and proceed to payment page where you back out without completing and it should save the credit.

You can do this a number of times to add each credit. However I would recommend not doing 10 or so gift cards on a deal that you proceed to book on the same day so that it doesn’t flag as fraud on their system unless you want to deal with their fraud team! Perhaps loading ahead of time to use at a later date might be safer.

I'd caution this approach.

Gift card has 3 years expiry if you do not load it. Gift card has 12 months expiry if you do load it!

that’s interesting! Perhaps hold gift vouchers and load prior to use. My point was not doing all the steps on the same day.

I heard a case where someone did that and were overseas with LE requesting card details or they would cancel the deal booked as it flagged in their system.

Myer 200 / 40
Just a tip if you're headed into the Sydney CBD Myer store to get some Coles/Myer gift cards for this offer.

There are very few cards to be found!

Every level has multiple massive displays of Myer gift cards but there was only a very limited supply of Coles/Myer gift cards on level 5 near 'The Hub'. Less than 20 remained when I was there yesterday.

At least once in the past I found asking about the Coles/Myer card at The Hub worked when the display had run out. Might not work every time but in my case they had a bunch behind the counter and just hadn't restocked the display. "AmEx deal, right?" she said as soon as I asked. 😁

If Sydney Myer CBD runs out, be advised that there are plenty at Myer Bondi.

Same as many other Myers that I've visited. It looked like the Sydney CBD store has made a conscious decision to primarily display Myer branded cards.

Noticed the same thing in Brisbane and Melbourne.
Myer cards on every checkout counter while Coles cards tucked away in the back. Definitely strategic display but hey at least they don’t hide them like HN did with some GC during promos...

I think @fantastikforce probably meant offers that people want :)

Add in some third party gift cards at Forever New and that's a game changer!
