Just bought some last minute theatre tickets and qualified for Shop Small - it never occurred to me that theatre would be considered a small business.

ok spoke to American express re the boozebud 15% offer
after 3 chats stating we would get the credit I spoke to amex today after 1 hr of fighting I got to a supervisor to cancel the card and was told the offer was not in the accounts till 14th I said that is impossible as I clicked on the offer then clicked thru to boozebud on 13th they said its impossible as the offer was in the account on 14th
I beg to differ
I told them there are a lot of people waiting for their credit and they will be getting a lot of calls
anyone else had that rubbish fed to them
there is nothing in the t and cs that state start date only end date
I cancelled the card no offer

I often see pending charges that are the day after I am actually looking at them (eg: a companion card is used to check out at supermarket - I go online an hour later to see how much to transfer and it shows as a transaction for the following days date) - I assumed it was something to do with time zones

My experience with pending charges is that they often show for the previous day’s date not the following day.

This was not pending but I purchased after I registered surely they can see what time i registered and all this time wasting for $15 I’m over it

Yesterday I went to a restaurant and managed to trigger 3 offers in the one transaction, receiving all 3 emails within about 30 seconds;

Delicious Month - 20% rebate
Shop Small - 3 * points
Apple Pay - 50 * points

Apple Pay ? Which card ?

As a follow up to this. I just checked a large charge I had made today to make sure the amount was correct. In the pending tab on the recent transactions part of the initial screen it shows up with a date of May 12. However if you click the 'view all recent activity' and click the pending tab it is dated May 14. And of course today is May 13!

Just weird.
