New Amex statement credits

I made my purchase to qualify for the 2500 points on the first day but still no points have posted. I just live chatted Amex and they just told me the t&cs and said I had to wait up to 90 days. :(
Ts&Cs say within 15 days but may take 90 days…🤷‍♂️

and I’m now concerned about the symbol on the offer…

Although the Ts&Cs explicitly say “online” and there’s no way to PayWave online? Or other than maybe Apple Pay?

I have done multiple subsequent purchases in person using paywave as well. Whichever way they cut it, I have qualified but no points.

My two "Mobile Wallet" entries align exactly with the two in-person Apple Pay payments I made that brought me to the 2500 point cap. None of the online transactions counted.

What a poorly executed offer

  • Offer valid for payments made online, in-app, or in-person at any business that accepts American Express.

I have received the points weeks later. But it comes in bulk.

Same but google wallet

@SYD you are a much more dedicated points hacker than me........ 2,500 QF pts = $25 for a $500 spend....... I have reached "curiosity" level as to where my points are at...... not sure I will get to "concerned" if turns out I stuffed up...... but I will stay curious :)

Ah, my “concern” was more to do with potential inconsistencies with the offer language and Ts&Cs. If it was supposed to be a PayWave promo, then they’ve balls’ed up the language.

I’d actually forgotten about the promo because I’d just assumed I’d get the bonus on just regular day to day spend…

Just noticed that I have exactly 2500 bonus points. Each bonus entry tracks a specific ApplePay tap and it looks like the last one (from Thursday) was cropped by 1pt to meet the 2500 cutoff. Zero bonus for a couple of $k online spend…🤷‍♂️

so many credits seem to be taking weeks to credit these days, never used to be this slow in the past....maybe they are hoping people will forget...

Oh, for the days of leaving Harvey Norman having bought a few visa gift cards with all of the emails confirming cashback in my inbox before getting to the car.

I used Myer the other day. Credit posted within days.
i can also confirm had 2 Myer offers credit off the 1 transaction pretty quickly.

Any suggestions on how i can use the Hilton offer on both Primary and Supp prior to my stay? I stay in Oct after the offer expires?

Dribs and Drabs Here with Bonus Pints awarded
Was worried with Google Pay symbol - nothing in T+C about using paywave or app transactions- So far about 1580 points - want the other 1K points

In regards to the United offer of 1000/200, it stipulates in the T&C that flights purchased must start in Australia. How does Amex know where the flights actually originate? Domestic flights are sold in AUD so could they tell the difference between this and an international flight from Aus?

I think if u pay in AUD it should trigger
my cathay X HEL to DPS was purchased from AU TA and I got the Cashback
