I used the same offer last year plus a $100 voucher (from 28° MC I think) to book CX flights ex CGK. Webjet priced in AUD at spot rate - so worked out well!

I'm not familiar with webjet and their gift cards, can more than 1 be used on a booking?

For those that have the "Spend and Get" 5x MR points per $ up to 2,500 (or similar), does anyone know if the bonus points track per transaction or get dumped in the account at the end of the promo? Nothing in my activity shows no bonus points, just the points from the transaction.

Mine sort of track transactions but there are transaction with no corresponding bonus points so far. One VA booking alone should have knocked it out of the park - yet nothing…

@SYD Mine showed up at the end of May as "Mobile Wallet". The points totalled 2,500 in two small entries and one bigger one, but didn't align with any purchase amounts. It was also shown in the "Recently redeemed" section in My Offers in the app.

I have ~7 “Mobile Wallet” entries that I can match as 5x seperate spends. But there are several (and frustratingly) larger spends with no bonus entry. I’m currently sitting on around 1900 bonus points but should have cracked 2500 a few weeks ago.

Does it correlate to actual "mobile wallet" transactions? Apple/Google/Samsung Pay? Because for me that was what was happening and I started skewing payments that way to hit the target.

I agree that definitely hlwasn't in the original stated terms.

Ah, you could be onto something there! All the items that haven’t earned have been online payments (which are included in the Ts&Cs). The line items with matching “Mobile wallet” are in person (ApplePay for me) at Coles, Woolies etc.

I expect the rest will sort themselves out after the 23rd…

I made my purchase to qualify for the 2500 points on the first day but still no points have posted. I just live chatted Amex and they just told me the t&cs and said I had to wait up to 90 days.
