New Amex statement credits

PSA - the Vogue Fashion Night offer required resaving on my cards today. They were all back in the 'available' tab. I had saved them a few days ago.

Amex credits continue to be paid sporadically. A Qantas one from a purchase on 06 Oct came through last night along with a Special one from 10 Oct. I am still waiting for a Qantas Hotels one from Oct 13 which doesn't even show as redeemed yet. Contrast that with an Ampol one that come through the day after purchasing and a Qantas one on Mrs SS card that did the same.

used tap both physical card and google pay but no email confirmation

I got the QF Hotel one on the 15th off the back of two seperate bookings. The last made on the 10th.

Never got an email saying “redeemed” but was showing in app as “recently redeemed” At the same time the credit posted.
 
@Daver6 a good example of why the banks don’t care about threats to escalate:
On another group (Fb) someone just posted a shot of their account, paying something like $20 fees a month for the last few months with no other activity. They say “still going despite threatening the ombudsman over a year ago”.
So instead of making the 5 min complaint they have sat, watching the money leave their account every single month.

Asked why they didn’t just use that time to make the complaint instead of posting “I don’t have time”…

The irony being that's not much effort at all to escalate and way less painful dealing with overseas call centres.
 
No guaranteed email alert from Amex but they do usually send them to all customers.

@thatsthatmattressman there is a regular (monthly?) "Your Offers are Inside" email that is sent. Check your communication settings. Or just check the app regularly, at least every Tuesday. There's only ever advance notice of promos like Shop Small, Fashion Night (sic) and so on, not for specific offers for a brand.
