New Amex statement credits

For those interested, activated VAEFNO offer on three cards, and bought one $300 CG&MGC on each at Myer Melb Bourke St on Friday.

* 1x card showed redeemed yesterday
* all 3x transactions posted today
* 2x $50 cashbacks posted today, both now shown redeemed (incl one from yesterday)
* 1x card no signal of success yet

Last card now received the cashback, but still shows the offer as "active" rather than "redeemed" for some reason.

so just to clarify, rather than 5 * $60 transactions receiving $10 each, you did 1 $300 transaction and received the full $50 cash back?
 
No, and from memory this wont work. But I did make a purchase at david jones online sit
You CAN buy DJs Gift Cards online and get the credit. Did it three times out of four (one was blocked as it was the third purchase in a day and it was being sent to someone else; tried again two days later on a different Amex, sent to myself and same account, and it worked). YMMV
