Did anyone notice the increase in prices for flexi fares? (From the east coast to perth, not sure about other routes).

The prices 'are estimates' thing is strange, as is the fact that they're shown differently for one-ways and returns. Why can't the price below the radio button be the actual total?

That's a bit like the rental car mobs. They always seem to use the term "estimates" as well but usually (stuff ups excepted) the estimate price turns out to be the actual price. Not sure why they do it.

The new system is up and so are the FARES :-/. My J Fare from DPS to MEL via BNE which sold for $1299 last week is now worth $2400. I was able to book this for 30k of velocity points and $50. I suppose great points spend value although $2400, do you really think this will fly with customers? 737-800 is not worth that spend
Although considering this, It might be that all the fares look very expensive because there are no current sales throughout any fare class whilst the system is being tested or was this a way to hike the fares?

Interestingly here the actual price can come out slightly lower. Looking at BNE-SYD where the one-way is listed as $109, as a return booking the two legs are $110.90 and $110.89 but the eventual total is $218...so why not just show $109 each way?! I guess the imprecision is needed to accommodate more complicated itineraries?

Also I notice the taxes component now includes more items than just GST.

I talked to one of the women on the massage team in BNE (from the 'three minute angels'). She said she was there for the weekend only. Of course, others might still be working for a couple of days into this week.

Well I noticed I have 4 again...but an anniversary date of 17 Jan so can't use them! However hopefully they aren't the 4 for the coming year and disappear on Thursday!

Everything seems to be down...what a farce!
