Just received notification of these changes today. Am I really that low on the totem pole?*

* Actually, low man on the totem pole is more important, but let's not spoil a good saying.

I think we all received official notice today so no need to climb the pole, yet.

I see this thread has a start date for the program od July 2015 yet all the blurbs say it's already started.

Has anyone yet received a status upgrade to the new tier?

Can't see too many redeeming at Coogee when its only 5k less than an Intercontinental

There is an increasing ceiling effect on IHG redemptions-enhancements to come?

If that's not a major devaluation by significant increase of redemption price, I don't know what is.

Good to see IC's in SYD and Sanctuary Cove remain as is. I'll be curious to see where the changes take IHG. A new level with mainly undefined benefits, redemption hikes and from what I see, point breaks that mostly ignore AU and dropping coverage of some localities in the AU region........so far they haven't given me much incentive to take IHG any more seriously than I did before (ie - not at all). I'll be interested in seeing what the "2016 benefits" they espouse will be.

Tends to confirm our decision to change loyalty away from IHG even after being platinum for some years.

Clarification question - help needed! I'm 3 nights short of Gold under the current system (12 nights) so does this mean as of 1st July I will automatically move up to Gold?

Can confirm that e-rewards transfers are still counting toward status. Not the best effort:reward ratio though

I will be doing an e-rewards transfer within the next week or so. I will report back. I agree e-rewards are not the best reward / ratio but they can be a very good method of keeping points alive in programs where activity is needed to prevent expiry.

Sorry-my previous post not clear. I've just done a transfer and I can confirm that they did credit

Thats what I use them for, programs where I dont use that much but I do have a reasonable sized balance I want to protect!

I can't get my log in to work on the website. It's fine on the app but when I use the full site (on phone or PC) I just get a grey panel when I click on the IHG Rewards logo

Edit: I can sign-in via Manage my Reservations

Thanks for this, I am already using for Club Carlsson and HH to keep alive, another onto that list. The clock doesnt start until 1 July though I though?
