New Lounge in CBR

pretty sure it has been that for months in MEL, convenient since you can autofill it.

I don't know that it is much of a problem, I don't recall getting a connection outside the lounge in MEL - will give CBR, MEL and BNE a test this weekend

The PER lounge has removed the boards from the tables with the password. It's still the regular one, but it's now on a card at reception that's handed out.

I'm assuming they'll change it again some time. They should do what BA does; have it as a scrolling ticker at the bottom of the Flight Info boards. BA's is always a city name as well, so you know what you're looking for when you glance at the scrolling text.

After some animated conversation recently about the accuracy of departure/arrivals boards in airports for VA I wonder how much control they have, if any, at some ports. I guess BA do their own (my examples are limited to LGW and LHR though).

I don't know if it has been posted yet, but I was pleasantly surprised that the USB power ports seem to be high powered 2.1A - my iPad and iPhone have been happily charging away.

I don't think the output was mentioned, but that's very good to hear. It would be nice to just take cables (no brick) when travelling in the future.

I should be there at the same time! I'm catching the 5:05pm flight to SYD, so aiming to get there around 4pm so I can check out the new lounge.

Getting there 3 hours early for a flight from CBR to SYD is just not worth it.

Anyway, walked through the new airport when I arrived yesterday. It is nice and spacious! I like it. Gave me a similar feeling to KLIA. Looking forwardto checking out the new Virgin lounge later today.

I stopped in for a coffee after my flight (in here now) and it is very nice. The whole terminal is looking nice; and I love the new security area.

Going out to have lunch with some friends, and I'll be back this afternoon.

Can't get the wifi working though.

In the lounge now too. It is very nice! I love the feeling of space and it feels bright and airy. Not impressed by the bathrooms though...feels like you're in a nightclub in there.

Naturally...with a glass of sparkling/champagne within easy reach, of course. LOL!

FWIW, the SYD lounge now has the same bathrooms as CBR.
