I thought seats were only provided to those who purchased a Flexi Fare, or to Velocity Gold/Silver. Have I missed something?

Oh that must be why they asked me! I'm not particularly creative, so it must be the cheekiness that got me the spot!

But in all seriousness, I do feel quite lucky to be asked, as there are just as many deserving people here who have probably contributed even more ideas, suggestions and feedback over time than I have.

If there are any questions or anything you want to find out, please let me know. I can't promise I'll have all the answers on Tuesday (I'm sounding like VA again!) but I'll do my best to find out.

Oh, and if anyone wants to meet me in the Sydney lounge around 5:30pm or back at Melbourne airport when I get back at 7:45pm, let me know! (You'll have to guest me back into the Mel lounge though, unless the announcement Tuesday is that they're giving me a Platinum membership with Anytime Access!)

Ah I think the wires are crossed, seats are on the plane, but lunch is on the roof!

(And I'm not sure how much I'm allowed to say, but yes my flights are in Premium ... I'm hoping they're bringing an A330 down to Melbourne for me, or at least VH-YFE with the BSI interior! I did notice VH-YFC at Melbourne airport this morning too by the way, before my flight down to Hobart).

Ah cool - good to hear. I know QF are still doing Arrivals access to J lounges for Platinums, even without ATA, so this is good to hear.
