but that's what I'm told.

OMG, my little boy is two, and loves Thomas, watches the same movie over and over and over, and fiishes alot of his sentences of importance with "thats what I'm told."

Now I have this mental image of you speaking wih Thomas' voice.:p

Something I came up with in the process of entering, my final entry was completely different due to the word limit.

Lounges with pork buns
and winglets with pictures
seats you can lie on
and long haul in business
remote little airports, the sunrise on wings
these are a few of my favourite things

Leaving PER the other day, the Skywest A320 was looking good, the Strategic A320 winglets with the Aussie flag on them look great, but the DJ A330 looked fantastic. Can't wait to fly on it on Tuesday, especially since I'm in business! :)

(I found it odd to see a Skywest F100 in MEL today - I would have expected the A320 to operate the MEL route)

I also have a two year old, and have watched a fair bit of Thomas recently, but can't remember him saying this. And I definitely DO NOT have a Thomas voice!

My flights are booked ... And I have the details for the lunch. Now where did I put them again ... ;)

There not flying JB's private jet down for your trip too? What a pity.... ;(
Looking forward to a great day... What a fantastic opportunity ....

With many flight cancellations happening due to Ash Clouds....
It will be interesting too see how many of the 5 AFFers get delayed.... Ah more Virgin Lounge time.... Nice... ;)

I'm currently in Hobart, about to drive to Launceston in the hope that my VA flight from there is still going!

I also have seats booked on the 4:50 QF and 22:20 JQ flights from Hobart just in case! But according to news reports they are cancelled, although the websites don't indicate this yet.

Not for me, no lounge at OOL (yet)...though cant see the OOL-SYD flight being a problem.

So my flight LST-MEL at 1:40pm is the only Melbourne flight out of Launceston not cancelled! Woo hoo - looks like I'll make it to Sydney tomorrow after all! (Sorry Liam ;) )

Of course that still depends on my flight from MEL-SYD tomorrow morning, but that's at 7:30 so I'm sure Velocity Rewards will pull some strings to make sure that we're all there! (From what I have heard from those at VA arranging it so far, it sounds like a bit of work has gone into the preparation for the event).

Great to hear you got a flight out of Tas... At least youll be in MEL if you get stuck in the morning.

I heard of 4 Sydney guys who didn't want to wait in MEL today at the airport so caught a taxi to Sydney. $1200 flat rate .... (a boat out of Launceston might work )

Yep, I'm back being excited again now! Maybe we should all meet in the Lounge early tomorrow and open the champagne early?! ;)

Can you geotag them to make easier for Misha and myself to crash the event? :p

I was thinking about uploading a photo of the venue ... but then I have to roughly estimate how long the lunch will go for, as I'll need to ensure that I time it so that anyone who tries to crash just sees us driving off back to the airport

Actually I think I will pass - After delays yesterday and today (just arrived home) I think I am ready to not catch a plane for a couple of weeks. Happy to receive update text messages though

Aha! So it's not at the airport... or are you throwing us off the scent?.... ;)

My first thought was that it is at one of Luke Mangan's restaurants. But I dunno... Could easily be at some sort of more visual location. Wait on, on top of the building where the US embassy is in Sydney? No... Hmm...

Normally all big PR events are with Richard Branson on the Wings of a A330. But with the dust cloud & RB out of town they'll have to settle for something else.

Maybe the harbour bridge?

Is there a *A HQ in Sydney somewhere? ... ;)
