New Qantas Toolbar - Earn Bonus Points just for searching

Of the 3 accounts, 2 were OK with 1 not providing valid searches after the first month or so.
In the last couple of months the "in valid" account working and one of the previous working ones now showing each search as invalid.

My "family" did earn 900 points last month, so perhaps it triggered something in their system.

No big loss as Bing is a cough search engine. Might clear the cookies and history.

Already hit 150 this month with no issues; maybe you have been enhanced? For the record, I got to 150 last month as well but they posted as 148, go figure.

Funny you should say that because my post was 130 something yet I was certain I racked up 150.

One point is very useful though to keep activity on ones account every 18 months (not that most AFF'ers have that problem)

My mate is in Norway and finds this toolbar very handy!

I just installed the toolbar so I could qualify for the "earn one point in a currently unearned icon million point" competition. I love the way that after searching (in my Firefox at least) it can freeze the whole browser for a few seconds while it displays the "You've earned one point!" message over the Bing search results page.

Does the freezing thing in chrome as well.

Happens here too!

Thought it was just my old PC playing up as the Bing search is on an old PC so Qantas and Bing etc doesn't get to see what I really search for....

I have found that the toolbar severely slows my pages loading, so I have disabled it after getting the 150 points and my page loads are definitely a lot faster now. I use Chrome by the way

I have always had all sorts of issues in any browser other than Internet Explorer - which I don't normally use. I keep it installed on IE though and just open it to do some fake searches every now and then.

Did anyone get double points for their May searches? I got 149 points posted on 11 June and then again on 2 July, June's points posted today. Not complaining, all extra points come in handy

Likewise...one set of points for me for June...although I tend to login as my wife once I've reached my 150, so we get an additional set of 150 points in her name if I can be bothered to use it. In truth, I tend to find it a very non-user-friendly, slow Add-on - whether I'm using IE, Chrome or Mozilla, it always seems to take so much longer to do what should be a simple search compared to if I simply used Google....and that's before you question the quality of Bing searches vs. the results you receive via Google. No surprise that Google has two-thirds of the search market vs. Bing having (<20%) as per ComScore data from March 2014.

No double points. And I only got 140 points instead of 150.

my 150 usually post around the 9th or 10th of the month, but nothing has come in yet in August thus far...
