New Qantas Toolbar - Earn Bonus Points just for searching

We have something hideous called a "terminal server" at work. I use that for my "real" searches. I installed the QF toolbar on the other part of my computer which I call the hard drive part (pls excuse wrong terminology) and I only use it for searching when I either want QF to know or don't care if they know what I am searching for. I'm assuming QF can't see into the terminal server - am I deluding myself?

I'm enjoying coming up with new and innovative search terms to get to the gmail homepage instead of just clicking the link in my favourites bar!

but my bonus points haven't posted. I tried tweeting Qantas customer service but they never got back to me. I guess I'll actually have to call them. Very annoying.

Mrs Shintaro received an email with a 200 QFF bonus for trying the toolbar, she has been using it for a few weeks now and was credited a 200 bonus several weeks ago, wonder if she will get another 200 for getting the email today..?

I've bitten this time and am giving it a go. Am trying to come up with the most bizarre, but family-friendly searches possible. Data mine this!

Installed on IE, which I nevereverevereverever use.

eg "fishing cat reproductive cycle". It drew the line at "man fungus" though.

LOL. For some reason "watch here comes honey boo boo online" is perfectly fine with the search engine. It ought not to be!

They'll choke when they review my stats...lots of travel sites, only looked at Qantas once when I was comparing VA & QF or my day trip to SYD next week - sorry QF, you were $100 more expensive and your last return flight was 30 mins earlier than VA.

I have a cunning plan... We should all use the search tool to search for "virgin platinum four confirmed upgrades"

maybe that might get Qantas moving in the right direction...

Lots of mine have been airline related - I've been basically churning through lists of names and so on to make up my points.

Also intermixed is a lot of food related searches - recipes of food, restaurants, etc.

Stopped working, says all my searches are invalid. I have removed it POC.

Had the same thing happen on one of my kids accounts.
Could log out and into mine or other kids and search same query and it be OK.

emailed them, told a lot of cough and could not make them understand what was happening.

Totally forgot about the tool bar after that so better fire it up again and see what can be earned.

I find this whole toolbar thing creepy and demeaning to the Qantas brand. Can't imagine a huge return in it.

They may as well start putting google ads on their pages.
