Heard a discussion between female ground staff at BNE airport today.

From the limited conversation I heard they have positive things to say about the new uniform and can't wait to wear them but they do not understand the need for the scarf.

CSM today also told me they cant wait & are excited to wear the new uniform. which is great to hear.

Cabin crew at gate today also discussing new uniform. They like it and the scarf that goes with it.

I think this one is a winner according to staff.

I heard similar as well.

I think the most interesting thing about all of this is the interest and discussion by so many men about fashion :shock:

A QF FA relative of mine commented that its a real essendon bombers thing (he is a huge bombers fan) on Facebook, and copped a warning from the company.

Personally I'm a fan I think it looks good. Most importantly as long as the crew like it, and it's comfortable, then I'm happy. Anything to improve service levels.

The red and pink not going together somehow changed about five years ago in the fashion world. I pair them all the time.

Maybe it'll look different in person, but I'm really not loving the pink and red together. Love the rest of it, particularly the coat and hat.

Female CSM wearing the new uniform on my flight today.

She is a little chubby, said it so herself, and is worried she will have to diet to look good in new uniforma, but I thought it looked great on her. The colour scheme does take a little while to get used to but the staff love it so I think this is a step forward in the right direction.

She actually mentioned she feels comfortable in it but that is not detracting from the previous uniform in any way.

I hope I was not drooling!

Apologies to any ladies on the forum, and men, but in my opinion if one of the young Qantas FAs with a nice body wears the new uniform she is going to look stunning.

I could just picture her walking up the aisle from the back of the plane and as she walks past every male sticks their head out their aisle staring. In a nice way I hope.
