I've never seen any of the Star Wars films
But you will, and you will enjoy them (and drop your weapon).

Pegg was the big alien junk dealer, Unkar Plutt, who tried to buy BB-8 for food
He had made it clear he wanted out before RotJ. I guess we could still get 'voices' a la Obi-Wan.<snip>
I think Han Solo should have continued right through this movie and next two, there being 9 movies all up in the Star Wars set.

It was still good to have him for this one at least.
You never heard the saying "Build it fast, build it cheap, build it right........... now pick any two"?
I mean how come the Empire builds these death stars that are so easily destroyed.
I went to see SW yesterday at the Cathay on Orchard Road in Singapore. Rocked up five minutes before screening, paid SGD8.00 retail (plus SGD2.90 for a Coke Zero) and the cinema had a total of about 12 people.
Entertaining but certainly no cinematic masterpiece. I like how the MF was not used 'for a number of years' and was fully fuelled and able to fly at light speed with no preparation or maintenance.
So there are at least two of us on this planet.
I was very disappointed in in this film. A poor man's Episode IV.
Coincidence upon coincidence, plot holes galore, I mean how come the Empire builds these death stars that are so easily destroyed.
I liked Daisy Ridley’ performance as Rey, however she somehow managed to be a top mechanic, establish control of the Force, and wield a light saber all in the space of 120 minutes.
Kylo Ren was laughable.
Harrison Ford was excellent however.
I can’t believe it is getting such rave reviews… pandering to the might of Disney?

D* mk2 was built in ~20 years so they hadn't ironed out all the bugs and more importantly they had an over-inflated sense of its invincibility (think WW2's Bismarck).
Ignore and sidestep the plot holes and go along for the wild ride.
