Winner Winner Chicken Dinner?
I'm not sure, but the Riesling went well with the pre dinner cheese and the chicken dinner.
I think Riesling's tremendously under-rated here in Aus. Top-notch riesling can go with so many dishes (provided you get the right combination of sweetness, acidity etc.) and you aren't eating beef wellington or similar. Anything from certain cheese to pork to spicey Asian food can go with riesling. And the best bit is that most top Riesling's in Aus go for <$50 retail, and much less on sale.

Edit: spelling, and grammar. Even my edits are ****e
I'm salivating just remembering the 1976 I had for my 40th birthday...that must have been some end to a project sietes.Celebrating the end of two decent projects at work with a couple of knock off drinks.

I just can't get past the white pepper taste in the Maverick Twins GSM 2014 - I sometimes astounded that there's even any wine those bottles! I'm happy to gift my bottles to Sydney-siders who like this
I didn't really feel like wine tonight but +1 felt like a red so I cracked this Fo bottle thinking I would sip and savour just one glass. I'm not sure where it all went wrong but the bottle is now empty. Man this is a nice wine
If I could put in my two scents worth, I can ascertain many, but not all of those bouquets and I thank my dad for that. We had a house next door to a musty, dusty, smelly ol factory(sic).Maybe ones of these days those of us that can't smell or taste some of these will book in to do a wine appreciation course (in our capital cities)....
