Nice wines I have drunk recently - Red or White

Any other thoughts or ideas? I still have room in my bags, and haven't finalised my packing, so any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Suggest Shiraz-Cabernet which I think is very Australian. Something from Coonawarra like Wynns V&A.

A quintessential au red , raw and big boned , high acv, over the top in everything...…. pref from a nobody little winery that tastes like nothing else from anywhere….:)
What that exact wine is.. is very much a personal decision, but I opine that my concept is sound in terms of making a statement
It certainly would - I've seen Chris Ringland's stuff for sale in the UK - 16% certainly clears out the ear wax. Maybe something a bit more subtle

Haven't had a Bobby for ages and forgot just how nice this wine is. Whilst still very young, it's a beautiful wine, so different from the Barossa wines I usually consume. I'd love to come back to this wine in a few years.

I have 3x 2015 that I purchased at yhe winery in 2017. The winery is worth a visit especially in winter if you like fortified wine. Theirs are fabulous and in particular the Isabella Topaque of which I only have half a 375ml bottle left.

Had this at Waterfront Southbank before men’s tennis final - Cape Mentelle ties I believe?
