Some of the more interesting wines last night.

SV comparison was particularly insightful and of interest to me - Jamet trounced over the other two, Runrig has all the stuffing but it's a beast.

1967 Barolo 🤯 The Aussie dry reds I was less of a fan.

Did the '67 borolo have anything left in it? But surely the Clonakilla was a bit young...

The '67 Barolo was fantastic actually and yes still had plenty of life, the nose was unreal but the difference from a Plum PN glass vs a Zalto was night and day. Provenance was known to be impeccable, as was hand carried back from a very reputable NYC vendor.

Both the Clonakilla and Jamet were too young '18 and the Runrig '16 was way way too young. I just wanted to see what a young Jamet bottle was like (even if Cote du Rhone) for some validation of buying 😅

Some other bottles of the night, LEAS wasn't well received given the wet vintage or sleep stage of the wine, but I thought it was fine.
