Great little old school Bruce Dukes from back a while ago. 2010 was still brimming with acid, fruit and freshness. The finish was long and soft. Cracking wine..

Whilst looking for something nice to drink for dinner tonight with my patents, I found this bottle in my collection of wine....it was a corked wine and wow it was superb...I was a bit shocked when I googled the current retail price...I bought it as a collection of fine reds from ?Qantas wine store a few years ago but can't remember how much I paid!

Edit: I bought it 3 years ago as part of a Penfolds 2021 Release Super Premium Shiraz Trio from Qantas wine store, probably for the Qf points ...the 3 bottles, including a 707 and RWT, cost a total of $423....wish I had bought more!!!

Could have been a mild dose but nothing detectable on the nose. Just more like low cork taint. This brand is normally reliable but bought a few years ago now.

So frustrating when you open a decent bottle and it's not showing how it should
