It was so much simpler in the good old days when every thread was about a candy thief, good or poor service in the airline or ffp, moaning about how things arent as good as the good old days, etc.
Well at least all this banter keeps us checking to see if anyone is asking any real questions  .

About what :?:

I suppose I'd bettter guess before the "competition" closes.

I say NM's 2000th post will be on Feb 17 at 2.00pm (BNE time)
Kiwi Flyer might beat him to it.

You need a bribe for that. Guesses closed when we hit 19000 posts. See a few pages back.
You are posting so quickly that you don't even know which thread which you are posting to. :?

Guesses most certainly have not closed. This is NM's 2,000th post thread not AFF's 20,000th post thread.

Yes, I went back to check the first post to make sure I had got in before it closed...I had the same thought in mind. All these offT threads is starting to do my head in  :?
How do you think I feel. :o :?

I started some of these offT threads.

Yeh. But no need to keep reminding everyone.

You know it could kick start another manic monday or wacky wednesday.

Less than 150 posts to go before the deadline when NM reaches 1900 posts so get your guesses in sooner rather than later.

Not many predictions received so far. Most are playing a waiting game not wanting to commit too early.

Perish the thought. It is a private matter between me and my abacus. :P

Hey not fair. There is no hidden meaning there, only what you guys read into it.

Need I explain what an abacus is used for? It is used for calculating complex mathematical problems. Occassionally the beads get stuck or are hard to move therefore requiring the abacus to be greased so that it functions accordingly.
