Yes, we know. Breakfast.Juice is appropriate for a dinner service??? So when do you partake of a wine when dining?
It was more genuine questions why:
1. Juice is a more appropriate drink for a dinner service
2. What makes beer/wine drinks take longer than soda/tea & coffee
3. Is this standard on QFi dinner services? (I've just never seen other full service airlines not offer this for a dinner service).
A dinner service at the end of the flight is not the same as a dinner at the start of the flight. Definitely not standard for main dinner services for afternoon/evening departures.
This is one occurrence, let's not start blaming "the system".
So dinner isn't the same as dinner? Call it supper? Snack? Elevenses?
The OP said they was told that booze wasn't loaded into the carts; not an individual's refusal to serve.
Out of curiosity when was the last time you flew long haul Y with QF?

I'm tempted to leave your curiosity unrequited, but ... last year. But how is that relevant, other than a diversion? The thread is about the OP's experience on QF87 and the rest of us are expressing views and opinions.
Does the QF menu actually say dinner for the 2nd service or is it snack/ light dinner? This actually happened on my recent flight to ICN.
Light DinnerDoes the QF menu actually say dinner for the 2nd service or is it snack/ light dinner?
