This is crazy! I do periodic dummy runs as I need to book this segment for real in a few months for the 2018 trip and there are no seats in any class, not even economy! They have some seats on LA800 but I much prefer the QF flight. I don't have status on QF if this makes any difference. Nothing comes up using the AA search tool either, just before Christmas there was good availability 8-10 months out in Y at least. Now nothing!

Is something going on or is this a glitch?

I'm WP and I can see several dates in late Jan 2018 with J award seats SYD-SCL, and plenty of Y award seats returning in Feb. There's nothing showing for me after those dates yet. I checked a couple of those dates and none are on QF metal, being either LAN or on BA via JFK. I think you'll just have to pay cash for this trip.

Yes, the few dates I found with availability were either on LA 800 or routed via the USA. It's just really strange that QF doesn't have anything on their metal when they used to have at least decent availability in Y. Are they just not releasing seats at all? Y seats don't sell out that fast.
