I've been trying to book a sin-cbr flight that comes in overnight from sg (can't take a day off work for sq288). However, I cannot see any connections via mel or syd. On the way back, I can't see anything from CBR to SIN that isn't on SQ288. I also had a look at flights to HBA and other destinations that you could previously connect via VA from a SQ flight and nothing's available there either. SQ call centre can see the flights but can't ticket either. Does anybody have any idea what may be happening?

I can't recall ever being able to ticket VA and SQ award flights on a single KrisFlyer redemption ticket. At least not since I started using the program. If it's a Velocity award then you can combine VA and SQ reward flights on a single ticket, but not KrisFlyer. You should be able to book on two separate tickets though.

Sorry, I should have been more clear. I was trying to book a paid ticket.

Ah OK, sorry I assumed you were trying to book an award. If it's a paid ticket then what you're trying to do should be possible. Is booking via the Virgin Australia website an option?

Not sure what dates you're looking at, but I found connecting SQ/VA flights that depart SIN @ 20:20(SQ) and arrive in CBR @ 9.05am (VA). Best I could come up with, but able to be ticketed through SQ.
