It is still not confirmed the a/c is getting a full repaint, so maybe many are jumping the gun with this rumor.

It is correct. The airline doesn't exacly put out a press release to confirm it - but the internal sources I know are all confirming it. If it wasn't true, this sort of thing is corrected pretty quickly.

Read on the YSSY message board that it has been confirmed that OEJ will loose it's Wunala Dreaming livery, however Qantas will be putting a new livery on another a/c later in the year.

Doubt you will see multi colour paint jobs for quite some time. I read an article in one of the US papers about the cost of these paint jobs and the hours, paint used. This is why all the US carriers are returning to simple white with one or two colours options on the tail only.

They are tired and out of date now, so time for them to go...
