I think there's a grain of truth in what you're saying, but is for a specific group of Muslims from certain places. There are also large groups of Muslims in Australia (for example from Indonesia, the country with the largest number of Muslims) that are nowhere as extreme as some groups and certainly more respectful of Australian culture and meshing it with their own.
This is the problem with tarring everyone with the same brush.
And then there are a certain group of migrants whose kids are now 2nd and 3rd generation who refuse to speak English even at school. These are 16 and 17 year olds. They do not hangout with anyone other than their own race/religion. They spit on Australian culture. They spit on Australian society. Very sad.
