I am holding some of these any seat awards and may need to change has anyone recently been able to successfully change. I remember when I was booking the reps were clueless they will be even more so now!

Yes, I have changed and cancelled Dom JASAs, all without penalty.

Best done over the phone with patience...

These awards are no longer available online, so even a small change will incur a large "fare difference" online.

That's the easy part - never had any real issue changing these fares when I needed to.

Check the fare rules first, then identifty the booking class (U) for the target flights and call.

So it would be useful to check the flights I'm interested in and then ring Qantas up with all the details?

I just checked the flight I was interested in and – even with only around 15,000 points to spend at the moment – it comes down to less than the original price (A$1250 to A$925 + points). So maybe it would be even sweeter once I ring up?

I've never done this before, so I hope I don't mess something up (I'll definitely consult the tips written here). I guess it would be easier to do it online, but (from what people are saying) at least it's easier to manage those flights then...
