We're now in the Qantas lounge awaiting boarding. We had a quick visit to the JAL satellite lounge before they closed.

Thanks for the pics. What woeful 'seats' the QF lounge has by the computers. They all look nice and spacious (and empty) though!

How many lounges in all? I wonder what the lounge crawl record is.

All the seats in the QF photo look uncomfortable to me!

Nice to meet you all.
I went back to the JAL F after the QF flight left and will hopefully post some pics soon

Thanks to JessicaTam for organising a successful NRT lounge crawl.
My fave was the JAL F lounge in the satellite terminal.
It was most enjoyable catching up with 'old' and meeting new AFFers.

Til next year...

I think 9 both times in HKG.

First time we did CX arrivals + 2 CX F lounges + 4 CX J lounges + QF lounge + G16 lounge. JessicaTam was flying QF and may have done EK lounge as well but not sure she did arrivals.

Second time we were flying RJ and did 2 CX F lounges + 4 CX J lounges + QF lounge + G16 lounge + Plaza premium lounge.

The Bridge has main lounge on right and mini lounge on left. Do we count that as extra lounge?

As promised - pictures of the JAL F lounge (main terminal).

Note the sushi bar was closed due to the time of the night. But I did manage to grab some sushi earlier.

As an aside, the whiskey selection seems to be "enhanced" - no more Yamazaki 18 or Hibiki 17!

And now the follow up begins. I have a $605 bill on my credit card from the Conrad Tokyo . Have sent them an email with my original points booking asking them to reverse the charge.

If no response then a charge back shall be commenced.

Gosh, I didn't think I drank that much!

;) :D

Thanks. Looks nice. There was no Japanese whiskey at all in the Haneda F lounge earlier this year. Most disappointing, but I gather there's little left of these aged whiskeys in japan.

Take me with you please.......

Sorry, I'm back now. It was great. :)

Re my Conrad charge, have spoken to Westpac and it is showing as a pre-authorisation, not an actual charge. If it doesn't drop off after seven days then we'll do the dispute procedure but in the meantime I have to wait.

Agreed, the JAL Flounge is excellent. :)

Conrad Singapore did this to me a couple of years ago, even though I had pre-paid the entire accommodation bill weeks before. Was over a thousand dollars (multi-night stay) and was en route to Europe so was not at all impressed that my credit limit was reduced by such an amount for the duration of the stay plus two or three days after. Seemed like a scam to me. I could understand a $100 (or even per night) charge, but the full amount of an already paid bill was disappointing.
