The last 11 SQ flights that I took in 2 years were all booked on my boss' cc..it is a company card so do not know if that would a difference. Never been asked to produce the card and I have exited Aus from SYD/BNE/PER. Maybe if the ticket is booked too close to the initial departure date then they could ask you for the CC.

I've had the misfortune of having to produce the credit card, which was not my own (booked by my mum), and also cancelled, at PER.

Luckily the staff were really nice about it and explained it quite well. They needed to enter the last four digits to be able to release the booking and print of my boarding passes. A few phone calls were made by them to see if there was a way to skip it, but there was no other possible way. It ended up with a mad dash from my mum (who was at work) back to her house to find out the last four digits of that card. She found the numbers of the card, it was entered and all was fine.

A couple gasses of the sparkling went down really quick when we made it to the lounge!
