Observations of AFF

I have learnt so much since discovering AFF.

The people here seem friendly and always have constructive advice and knowledge to offer.

It's a credit that AFF does not generally contain the rubbish and childishness that internet forums are notorious for.

It is not always a good idea to ignore threads or sub-forums as sometimes useful information is posted through the static.

I ignored the Virgin threads for a long time as the fanbois were in control and posting garble. I missed a lot of useful information though that I only found out about later.

I think people should be allowed to post about the flying experiences, good or bad, but it gets to a point in time when a thread has run it's course. Some threads can last for months while others are only good for a couple of days. The pyjama thread is a classic example of something that should be put to sleep.
