5 Oct - QF 128, Hkg-Syd, 20:15. My wife and I can guest one person each into the QF First lounge, subject to the same flight rules. We're looking to get to the lounge by around 18:00.

6 Oct - QF 1419, Syd-Cbr, 11.25. We can guest can guest 2 people each into the J lounge.

Please PM me if you are interested in taking up this offer. Note that our travel will be pretty low-tech, so if you want to take advantage of the Hong Kong access, we need to tee up the details before we leave Australia on the morning of 28 September.

Only international has F lounges unfortunately. Best she can get into is the vi
Virgin lounge or the Qantas J domestic lounge.

Or the club. VA lounge looks like the only feasible option though as the QF lounges require a fair bit of walking, not to mention the security checks.

Hay Skyring....... Just spotted your flight plans.

I've travelled quite a bit with JQ Domestically in NZ, your correct that no QF lounges exist in NZ anymore.


However on your flight AKL > ZQN , get a window seat left hand side going down to ZQN, right side of the plane going up to AKL...... Great view of Mount Taranaki can be enjoyed...... Certainly a very scenic flight indeed all being with well with the weather!

Also, as i'm sure you know the flight QF 63 SYD > JNB, Whilst certainly very old 747's are used on this route, the views of the Antarctic Ice Sheets midway through the flight are amazing..... My pick get a seat left hand side of the aircraft & you'll be on a winner!
