I decided to give myself an early birthday treat and upgraded my flight QF804 to CBR on Monday 14 October, so I can guest 1 into the J lounge in MEL...

For my birthday today, QF is giving me a Golden ticket to SIN on J class... Not! I've booked a JASA ticket which would tip me over to Gold on D day (when my membership year ends), so I can guest 1 into the J lounge for the following flights on Halloween:
QF604 MEL to BNE
QF51 BNE to SIN

If someone has access to Qantas lounge they can guest you in Qantas lounge even if you are flying VA.

Today is my "L plate" status run due to double status credit offer being to much for me to resist! Sitting in tne QF domestic business lounge ( can guest 2) thinking am I crazy it is 5.15 am !!!
rest of day is
Brisbane Dom QF business lounge 6.45 for 2 hours ( can guest 2)
Townsville QF lounge. 1300 for 3 hours ( can guest 2)
Brisbane again ( yawn) 18.25 flight depts 19.25 so not long but can guest
