So my lounge Brisbane..... small, no views and I ate stone cold potato tots for breakfast labelled as potato croquettes lol. Only thing worthy of a pic was the menu. I mean it was cute and all, dead quiet probably the reason for cold food

Fixed that menu for them...

Well that was a nice flight, excellent service good food. That braised beef is the best. Only complaint no truffle honey as advertised

LOL I had EXACTLY the same food on VA7 on 15 January - albeit in 2A (Mr Clipped hogged Pole Position).

And I weep for you, missing out on that truffle honey - it has to rank as one of the most divine, scrumdiddlyumptuous pleasures I have ever experienced mid-flight. Not exaggerating at all!

Have a blast in Vegas! Give my regards to everyone!

Mountains between Las Vegas and la, unfortunately pics aren’t the best as the windows were very pitted

PS - we sat outside on the mezzanine of Emirates Lounge LAX last month and really enjoyed the ambiance. Food was spectacular as usual. The Thai Curry King Prawns were gobbled up by me and the Lamb Cutlets fell prey to Mr Clipped.

Only trouble about this lounge is the food is so good you eat too much then dont feel like dinner when you hit the flight

Yup, one of the lounges u actually don't mind if your flight is delayed, it usually is!

And seems like u can always count o n the lamb cutties and pies being there

Ahh yes, I think that is the secret to a great flight home. I'd already enjoyed so much in the Lounge that I declined dinner and alcohol when we were airborne. That extra precious time to digest gave me a wonderful prelude to sleep almost 7 hours on the way home.

Hate those tray tables sticking into my side though, even when they are retracted, they still get in the way.

Sorry about the poor lighting... also had the cheese plate but it didn’t warrant a pic 4 grapes that were soft and mushy very small cheese slices and a cube of quince paste the sz of a 5 cent piece

Breakfast in the lounge syd scrambled eggs that were Absolutely amazing for Bain Marie eggs and them beautiful little chorizo style sausages. One flight to go I’ll be happy to be home!

What date did you leave LA on?
I was on VA8 Monday 24th. In Y, but im glad i didnt spend anymore $ to upgrade. Just about everyone had a row of 3 seats to themselves!!
I have to say, the catering in Y has gone down, and they used to offer the noise cancelling headphones to Plats in Y, but not anymore.
