Also 2 data points for those curious: I clicked the link 3 mins after it was posted to instagram and wasn't even a quarter thru the queue by the time it ended, and that was on my laptop which I browsed to a good 30 seconds after the phone and which was considerably ahead of the phone so it looks like the queueing isn't entirely fair? Little bit of luck involved maybe.

The grooming kit was a glitched product, you couldn't add that to cart/checkout despite it being "in stock". Gave up the thermos on my cart (got that last week) to try and nab that.

I’ve seen this too with other 1pt items. I *think* that might be because someone else is in the process of buying the last one. I think the stock is only allocated to you when you get into the checkout process, so there’s a potential small window when two people could have the last one in their basket but only one person will be able to check out.

Definitely some randomness to the queue. I had a couple of browsers open and the one that got in first wasn’t the first one that joined the queue.

Also the products went live again before the insta notification so anybody who’s just refreshing/monitoring that page on the store would beat the insta people…

Was able to get the flight this time despite checkout issues again. Turns out it wasn't liking my address and instead of telling me that, it gave some weird generic error. Adjusted the address and checked out finally!

Was able to get the domestic flight after entering address again and a few attempts. I had gone into the velocity app and saw it was down before the instagram post was up so was already in the waiting room before it went live. Got a pandora necklace last week which arrived today. Not bad for 2 points total.

I was in the queue and had an item in my cart but for some reason it would not accept my address. No idea why. Tried entering it again from scratch and now I've been kicked out of the queue and back to square one!
