Hi,

I've been puzzling over this one for a while. Wondering if anybody can crack it.

One way QF Award, P or U

Targetting 6 Oct 17 but I haven't found any availability for the whole week preceeding.
Western Europe Any (NED, GER, FRA, GBR, ESP preferred but considering options) to Canberra

Trick seems to be finding any F or J availability for the middle leg, i.e. LHR, DXB, BKK, SIN, PEK, HKG to any Australian city.

Happy to do some strange layovers.
Hope someone can help!

Are you specifically after a Qantas flight/s, or would you be prepared to fly on a Oneworld partner airline?

I haven't looked thoroughly but can see that there are some business award seats on Japan Airlines from NRT to MEL on 6 October. You'd have to overnight in MEL and fly to CBR the next day as the flight arrives after 10pm. You would need to call QF to book for JL.

To get to Tokyo, I see there is availability on a Finnair HEL-NRT flight on 4 October. You would be able to connect on to that flight from pretty much anywhere in Europe that Finnair flies to. You would have a one day stopover in Tokyo.

Alternatively you could depart London on 5 October morning. Fly BA233 to Moscow, then take Japan Airlines JL422 from DME to NRT on 5 October, connecting straight onto the MEL flight on 6 Oct. Overnight in MEL and fly MEL-CBR morning of 7 October.
