Part of an US software vendor's APAC professional services team.

i've been bestowed the title of an IT architect, however this is far from truth imho, and in reality i am available to customers to undertake whatever role that is necessary so the region can be achieve its booking targets!

Yeah, I've been to ADL too!

Yeah, they have even got those new fangdangled aerobridge thingamajiggies, they are at the forefront of the twentieth century. Wait til they find out about, commodore 64's and the rubicks cube?:)

Not both at once I hope. That will definitely be excessive if they both happen at the same time.

As an aside...
I bought a little Ducati to ride around BNE, and have a few day trips coming up to DRW, ADL etc, and was wondering if anyone else rides a motorbike to the airport and where do you leave it?
Qantas Valet seems to be out and I am not going to leave it in short term....

Anywhere else (specially in BNE)
Cheers

How about one of the off-airport parking services like Andrews Parking.
They specifically mention motorbikes on the 'rates' page.

Yet another reason why the best thing about ADL is leaving it

I've flown over it a few times on the way to/from PER. Seeing ADL from FL390 was scary enough.

B - Bloody - HAVE!

I get to commute from Adelaide every week. Great place to live. The new airport is great - I agree there are some traffic issues that could have been handled better. Being "small" the regular WP's are well known and looked after. That's why I see very regularly in my "Recent Activity" the following...
QF 6XX ECONOMY/BUSINESS
XXAUG07 ADELAIDE/WHERE HE’S GOING
UPGRADE REF X????P

Failing that if there's too many CL's I always get my seating preference (legroom) and the last empty seat is always next to me. Yep it's got it's problems, but I'm glad I live here.

Maybe PER could invest in some of those aerobridge thingies. Save me having to walk up/down stairs that have seen better days.

Me thinks Perth airport management needs to invest in a lot more than a 'few aerobridge thingies'

Although Ikara is correct

6 straight On Departure Upgrade from ADL. Rarely get one from anywhere else. And we get to sit in the best domestic QP in Australia beforehand :p

You would be correct on that,

Hi All,

I have 2 jobs 1 is paid and the other is voluntary however I think I do more of the voluntary job though.

I'm a director (voluntary position) of a national company and my paid job is within the intelligence field.

As you can imagine both keep me very busy hence I don't get much time to read through all the threads as much as I would like :( .

Hi All,

I've had a few jobs all in the horticulture/landscaping field.

Now at the age of 32 I have realise work smarter, not harder and have become a teacher/trainer.

I now teach for TAFE QLD (not alot of travel there) and Train/Consult for a company out of Sydney that deal in soil conditioning technology. (Great for retaining moisture in the soil, great in this drought).

Only started both jobs around July last year so have done a bucket load of travel so far with more to come. I hate the Perth flights due to being 6'4".

Regards
Nathan

Plus quite a few more ex-Big 4 auditors too, I suspect. :)

I’m yet another IT auditor… That was a big step for me to admit… Spent a number of years in Big 4 trying to fool myself that I wasn’t an auditor by calling myself a consultant. That is harder to do now that I work in Corporate’s Internal Audit dept. I’ve finally succumbed and now list my profession as Auditor. Incidentally first time I did this was subject to very rigorous Customs screening (justice I hear a lot of you say). :p

On average 75% of my time is offshore mainly in ASPAC.
