In the past 10 or so months, I've churned through quite a few (6 to be exact) Velocity and other bank reward cards, where the points can be converted to Velocity.
Naively, I didn't realise how many of these cards are actually all issued by Citi/NAB.
Whilst my credit ratings on both Equifax and Illion are still excellent, I've been getting auto declined for any new card applications that are issued by Citi/NAB (which took me two unsuccessful applications to realise).
When I say auto declined, it means I will receive an email stating I have been unsuccessful, within a minute of hitting the submit button for the application, and no enquiry is recorded in my credit history.
In detail, I applied for the following cards, in the following order:
This really only leaves me with Amex, unless I'm missing something?
I had hoped to be able to continue to churn through 6 or so cards per year to maximise sign up bonuses, but at this stage I'm not sure if this is possible ongoing.
Does anyone have any suggestions or strategies they have been using successfully in the past?
Are there any other cards that are missing from the above list, and that I should consider applying for (not Citi/NAB issued)?
Thank you for your suggestions.

- ANZ rewards black
- NAB Platinum Rewards
Virgin High Flyer (NAB issued) - Citi Premier (NAB/Citi)
Westpac Altitude Velocity Black (now has a TWO year waiting period to be eligible for the points promotion as a new customer) - Suncorp Clear Options Platinum (auto declined, NAB issued)
BOQ Platinum Visa (auto declined, NAB issued) - St George Amplify Signature (successful with no issues, after both Suncorp and BOQ were declined)
