No decision made as yet - Cruiserette has discovered 2 of her buddies will be in Paris at same time - they have their heads together - kinda like a '3 Stooges Reunion' really - please don't tell her I posted that.

Personally I'd like to give the Paris Hilton a spin - time will tell.

Report from last week-end on Mercure Paris Centre Eiffel Tower Hotel.

Food, accommodation, price and facilities are all fine and the location is good for me.

Free WiFi is just adequate and there is a charge for cable hi-speed.

I know that this thread is for Paris Hotel CE, but if you are looking for a great bistro (casual and great atmosphere), try Le Fumoir

My reservation at a restaurant was cancelled...and it was raining...grr, so I came here with no reservation, had a great gin and tonic and waited for a while and was given a table..
The Maitre d is an interesting fellow, great food and people watching
I know it's near the Louvre (read:tourist trap), but was pleased to be "trapped"

TBH was kinda thinkin' you'd need to leave with a shoot load of soap to make A$2K/nt seem value.
