Now if JohnK & danielribo could get their acts together they could possibly share a cab at a reasonable cost each.
A taxi would still be over $20 each.

I quite enjoy the airtrain anyway. I have scheduled most of my returns to BNE to to arrive ~7:00pm which gives me time to down a couple of quickies in the lounge, collect my luggage, head up to the airtrain station and in 20 minutes I am at Central station. From there about a 10 minute walk up the hill and Jacobs Ladders and I am in my apartment.

Agreed JohnK. I was actually thinking of the times when the train doesn't work for you due the a/c being later than normal.

Thanks for the info guys. Had a bit of a poke around on Monday and the Andrew's Parking place has a pretty good "corporate" deal (15% off, or if you park more than 6 times its 20% off) so I'll be giving that a go. Will probably try the Airtrain a few times too and take a late arvo flight back home.

Flights are coming out of my pocket so I'm stocking up on red e-deals (should help prop the status up a bit though!). I've been tempted by a few $49 OOL-SYD's on JQ... but not quite enough yet!

Fingers crossed it'll all work out.

Now that is a scary thought. The cost to get from BNE to OOL and vice versa would be more than the airfare and you would have to slum it with JQ and an additional trip of around 2 hours

Take your chances with QF red e-deals with the occasional DJ special thrown in for good measure. Most dates through to end of December have availability at $89 one way....
