And with that, episode 10 of season 5 is now watched, and I find an empty void of entertainment fulfilment until a further 5 episodes are released in the US and hopefully some kind soul puts them on Pirate Bay

Anyway, it got me thinking - what movies or TV shows are the "can't live without's" on your iPads or Laptops?

Mine in no particular order, on my MacBook Air are:
  1. The Colour of Magic - Terry Pratchett
  2. Hog Father - Terry Pratchett
  3. Up in the air
  4. The Big Bang Theory (currently 10 episodes of S5)
  5. Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy - the movie
  6. Taken - Liam Neeson
  7. Coldplay Live
Im interested to see what others have :)

I have no idea what Penny Knock means, but I digress...

Mine are mainly comedies...

1. Family Guy
2. American Dad
3. The Office (US)
4. Drawn Together
5. Modern Family
6. Parks & Recreation
NEW. Housos
NEW. Terra Nova

For my current trip my iPad/MacBook Air is loaded with:

Hancock's Half Hour (Obviously :p)
Boardwalk Empire
New Tricks
Garrow's Law - Series 3
The Ghost Train
Band Waggon
It's That Man Again
Hidden
Death in Paradise
Iron Clad
Alan Partridge's Mid Morning Matters
The Walking Dead - Series 2
Law & Order UK series 6
Downton Abbey series 2
Misfits series 3
Fry's Planet Word
Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy - 1979 BBC series.

I like to keep a real mix of stuff so I can cater for whatever mood I am in. I'm waiting for the movie version of Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy to be released on DVD ;) as well as The Inbetweeners movie. :)

Big Bang is top of my list at present.
I am a fan of Hancock's half hour and New Tricks too as I am developing a tendency to live in the past.

48 Hours Mystery
60 Minutes US
American Hoggers
Banged Up Abroad
Border Wars
Bordertown Laredo
Coast Guard Alaska
David Letterman
Fast Forward (yep that 1990's show)
Frontline
Frontline Medicine
Mythbusters
National Geographic
South Park
Unreported World

Dexter
Game of Thrones
Air Crash Investigations

After Boardwalk Empire, now checking out PBS Prohibition (3 episodes)

I'm boring just stuff I record off the box. Super rugby games involving the Reds, wallabies games and amazing race episodes.

I also have Around the World in 80 Treasures. And might load up some Yes Minister.

Taken is great. Waiting for the next session of Game of Thrones.

Sent from my iPhone using Aust Freq Fly app so please excuse the lack of links.

I have an external hard drive that I just keep filling with the latest TV shows and movies as well as a pretty decent (in my view at least) amount of some of my favourites, every time it reaches near full capacity it's time to upgrade, which isn't too bad as by that time the current models should be at least twice, if not three times, the size of the one I'll be upgrading.

Breaking Bad, Big Bang Theory, Community, Stargate (All three series), Firefly, Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy (The TV Show, which is IMO far superior to the movie, but I suppose that's the benefit of having 3 times as long to flesh out the story and characters), Game of Thrones, the list just goes on, and that's not even beginning to take into account the movies.

Interesting choice in shows that people watch.

I do not have an iPad or watch things on a laptop but if I did it would be

1. Stargate
2. Becker
3. Sliders
4. Smallville

You have impeccable taste!

Mine is basically that, but with the addition of the Chasers and Heston's Mission Impossible.

Currently:-
Gossip Girl
Glee
Dexter
An Idiot Abroad
How I Met Your Mother
Man vs Food

Ready To Add:-
The Simpsons (the whole 20 or whatever seasons)
Ultimate Car Factories
Megastructures

All available series of Big Bang Theory are installed, and are a regular fall back option on iPad when IFE is cough

I don't watch "old" shows as I barely have enough time to keep up with current shows... So pretty much as they come out in the US I "have a friend who records them and sends them to me" and current shows are:

Walking Dead
Dexter
Terranova
Hawaii 50
Haven
Warehouse 13
Burn Notice
Supernatural
House
Eureka
Grimm
Chuck
Dr Who
Game of Thrones (S2 starts 16 April 2012)

Like others, I'm also a fan of Game of Thrones..... hanging out for the second season!

I don't have any movies or TV series on my laptop mainly because I use my laptop for business and by the time I am making the final flight home the battery is flat on my laptop.

Plus I am not real technical to be able to do that.

I have purchased movies and then played it through the DVD feature on my laptop.

Try travelling in the USA where most flights do not have IFE at all - even for "First" class!

Still don't get it. Does anyone else not have a clue what this is about, or am I the only one? It certainly is an insider joke.

I really like Sheldon whose line is-knock,knock and Bazinga. You have to know him to get the joke.
Leonard's mother also cracks me up.
