Just received this message from QF. Initially thought it was a scam, but no phone number or link - must be legit.

Very weird.

Due to a system error, your physical Qantas Frequent Flyer card is not registering information when it is scanned entering our lounges or earning Qantas Points with our partners.

A replacement card has been reissued and will be with you within 3 weeks.

In the meantime, we encourage you to use your digital membership card. To access it, simply open the Qantas App and select ‘My QFF’, then tap the card icon on the top right-hand corner of the screen.

Rest assured the Qantas Points you earned from scanning your card at bp during this time will be added to your Frequent Flyer account within 10 business days.

We apologise for the inconvenience.

Thanks for that @justinbrett
Yet to receive any communication from QFF but may explain why my BP Points haven't landed in my account from Tuesday.
Plan on using Qantas Money for upcoming EU trip in 4 weeks.
If new card coming, hope it is within that stated 3/52 time frame 🤞

Was about to ask whether physical cards still exist!
I reenabled QF money on mine a couple of weeks ago expecting a new card when my July anniversary ticked over. Returned from my previous 6 wk trip 2 wks ago to find a new card in the mail with 2 wks to run. I haven’t received a new card yet even though I requal’d under the temp 20% discount when that was announced….

If you go to stocard, and type in your QFF # into set up a new card, it works at BP.
The first line is the bar code, and the second line shows: a "2081 8118 xx_x xx_x which works for me.
The last line is my QFF #.
No PIN code for "(use points)" at BP.

I'm having issues. Didn't realise the expiry date on my card is different to the expiry date of FF Platinum membership so to get a card I have to deal with both entities. I've waved the white flag.

Yeah, my new but now expired Jul 2023 WP card has a Nov 2023 expiry for the MC. I expect the new card (if it arrives) will be the same MC number with a Nov 2024 expiry (and different CVC).

My credit expires end of August. The person I spoke to couldn't seem to understand that as I'm travelling in third week of August that the card would expire while overseas. Sigh. Told me to ring QFF instead and get them to issue new card. 🤦‍♀️

Requesting a physical card is easy. No need to call or have an active Qantas Money account.

Log in to your QFF account, go into "My Profile", click "Request a membership card" and then "Request card".
Not available if you have Qantas Money on the card. This is what you get and which is frustrating because when you call that number they won't issue a new card but tell you to call QFF.

I must admit I had a hellava time trying to get a card without the credit card thing with it. Multiple calls and then assurances that card was on way - didn't arrive; assured that yes, we can see its been done and posted - nah. Gave up and about 3 months later, the card arrived in the post!

That was pre-covid; when they resumed, a normal card arrived on time.
