Used the app on my iPhone 5s yesterday. Had been flakey for a month or more not able to 'check in' but surprisingly it worked yesterday!

Definitely not working on my iPhone 7 running the latest iOS version. I even tried to delete & re-install the app but it still doesn't work :(

Only option that works for me is to use my notebook following the link suggested by ksthommo at post #55 above

I had the same problem and resorted to the Android app on a work phone for my current stay. But just checked and i-devices (iPhone 6SE (iOS 10) and iPad (iOS 9)) are working again.

I have been critical of Places for some time but, I will admit when I have changed my view, after much persistence (and some IT improvements by Accor) it is now quite good for my situation.

Despite it being buggy, it has worked for me too.

Looks like its been removed from the iOS and Android app stores.

Yep, and pays over time... the 3000 pts above is for earning 15 badges, took about 40 "validated check-ins" since 1 badge might be earned for things like "stay at 3 different Sofitels" (the 800 pts below was for that).

I'd estimate having earned around 10,000 pts (400 Euro) over the last 18 months.

Note that I only have a few badges left so this points flow is almost exhausted.

Only started using facebook places in August 2015 using my wife's facebook account.
I don't have a facebook account but it linked okay across to my accor account.
Reaped 11,100 points since then for using the app. Had to chase a few up. Got me over the line for platinum.

Saw something on flyertalk that accor release an updated app for android then withdrew it
as it wasn't working correctly, nothing new for accor.

Has worked well for me up until about a month ago -- now won't take any check-ins. Fortunately I got my status with help from this app. Doesn't count as much anymore though still better to earn than not.

if I knew what "DM us" meant I might try it??

DM = Direct message, same as PM really. It'll be called something else next year...

Is this working for anyone? Seems totally broken to me.

It worked for a while but when I changed LeClub status my member number changed send I have not been able to fix it.

It is flakey, sometimes works or not. I can't figure out what the triggers are. Very consistent with the wider Le Club customer service experience.

Thanks. I will keep trying. Have had maybe 6 or 7 stays since I last got it working. Missing out on a few hundred points.

If it helps i recently uninstalled the Places app, de-linked my iPhone from Facebook then reinstalled Places again to get it working. Ie. Start from scratch. It remembers what check-ins and badges you have, i guess to stop people starting to collect badges again since the early ones are easy to obtain.

Randomly started working for me again a week or so ago. Didn't uninstall or anything. Now seems pretty stable.
