Plat Edge points earn

There’s a thread on Ozbargain where someone is suggesting that WW are somehow putting gift card purchases through with a different merchant ID that doesn’t receive 3x points on Plat Edge.

Do you mean gift cards purchased in Woolies or Woolies gift cards (eg those bought online)?

I bought $2,000 worth of Wish e-gift cards this week, for $1,900 (5% discount via Entertainment Book). Received 5,700 points as usual.

This is the second time you’ve said this in response to me, but it doesn’t seem to be relevant to my question. I was not asking about the general glitches in points crediting that others have reported. My question was in relation to the rumour that DeKa reported about WW (presumably intentionally) changing the earn rate that applies to gift vouchers.

I’ve used all of my Visa1s so good to know that the edge crediting is working again as been holding off getting more eGCs. Guess it’s now a matter of breaking eGC purchases in case eGCs can’t be used to buy Visa1s anymore.
