My post has NOTHING to do with money!! It is a direct response ONLY to the post I quoted. If you are not intelligent enough to read my comment with relevance to the post I quoted, I will make it simple for you.
In that case I would suggest the universally accepted (here at least), adding some sort of smiley face to comments not meant to be taken so seriously. A simple
will do quite often.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE read my ENTIRE post... INCLUDING the last sentence... I do NOT want to be contoversial... I just wanted to express my opinion.
I wasn’t entirely sure if you were referring to the post above (quoted) in that last sentence or your own post. It confused me, but I have had a few tonight
You can check into a JQ service from some QP’s, so while you do have bags, you could presumably check-in, and later bag drop, though I’m not entirely sure with JQ. Either way, you’d still have to leave your bag somewhere before dropping it per JQ’s rules, regardless of when you went to the lounge
Presumably because the compromise position is a bit more general than an arrivals lounge. You could call it a transfer lounge if you had an appropriate airline one side of the connection. Indeed, the way I interpret it, you only need an appropriate flight somewhere that day. So while arrivals may be the most common use of the rule, there are other scenarios when connecting various airlines.
I guess, I’m just saying that I’m sure WP’s would appreciate a less ambiguous descriptions, as it seems as just they’ll just take this away next year. If they wanted to reward loyalty, a proper "arrivals access" lounge would be much better received, especially if it was added as an official benefit, rather just an extension.
I guess I’m just saying, this is just a temporary fix, it’s not going to stick. But what
Red Roo should take note of as a real suggestion, from a
Silver Qantas Club member no less, is that adding an official benefit to
Platinum privileges such that a
Platinum can access a domestic lounge on arrival would be a big step in the right direction, and I guess yes it would be used as an transfer lounges in some circumstances, but probably only because Qantas doesn’t have services to all regional ports, and they should appreciate their elite members a little more.
My idea will probably fall on deaf ears though, so prove me wrong in your fourth post
Red Roo!!
