Did anyone else return to zero SC today? Maybe it will update sometime soon? I've also posted this on the main extension thread.
Mine has reset to zero SCs today, and I expect any roll over SCs will come through in a few more days time. The best thing though, is that I did get extended for another 12 months as WP. MrsK will be pleased

I'm Platinum until 31 May 2024. I have not qualified Platinum since 2019 and cannot see that changing any time soon. I have Lifetime Gold. I will miss lots of things about being Platinum but many of those are no longer a benefit anyway.

The thing I miss the most is how Qantas has changed. I miss the Qantas pre-Covid. Decent airfares that were competitive, 747s/A380s with 789s starting to emerge and plenty of economy award availability. Now Qantas are expensive, 747s/A380 mostly gone, very limited economy award availability and the prospect of A350s coming onboard. The appeal as an airline of choice has gone.

While one door closes another door opens. Travelling with wife and daughter will allow me to earn Virgin Platinum for first time in over 10 years. SQ offers better choices for us in getting to Thailand and although the A350s are not that pleasant in economy the transit in SIN is a good alternative.

Enjoying what will probably be my last Flounge visit for the foreseeable future today. Bittersweet!

SYD First Lounge was absolutely heaving on Saturday morning. Service struggled as a result — ~30 mins for coffees. The end of status extensions really can't come soon enough, though I acknowledge it is no fun for those on the losing end of that equation.
