I have not received any vouchers :(

Do you have multiple QFF numbers connected to the one email address? If so you need to ensure all individual QFF profiles have opted in to marketing, if any of them have opted out you won't receive a voucher:

If the email address is shared across multiple accounts, all accounts linked to the email must be opted in to receive 'Exclusive offers for Qantas Frequent Flyer Members' email marketing to receive the voucher.

Wine voucher comes in your birthday month

Well i thought they might send the wine vouchers for those who have already had their Birthday this year and were points club at the time. Mine was last month.

Thanks, just realized daughter’s account goes to my email. Just updated her account.
So, what happens now - just miss out?
I should get the Points Plus bonus once I get that last 1012 points into my account.

You contact Qantas and explain what happened?
Will have to wait until my next day off work, cant wait on hold for unknown length of time & still answer other calls.

Got both vouchers as it's my birthday month in May... was keen to look at some champagne options, as retail prices have been higher of late... but not much of the usual quality NV stuff to choose from (no Taittinger, Veuve, Laurent Perrier). Bollinger NV 2 pack might be about the best value, but still higher than I'd like to pay after applying a $50 voucher. Will check back later

Cheers,
Matt.

Almost certain hotel bookings made via QF hotels (ie with these vouchers) will not accrue hotel loyalty points. Might get lucky I guess if you add your loyalty number to your booking using their confirmation number (if QF hotels supply it) or provide on check in, but seems something to expect to not get rather than assume one would. Elite benefits may be given if one advises of status level on check in (for example back in the day on a group tour I realised we were staying at a Marriott hotel and when we checked in I showed my Gold status card expecting to be told sorry, but no got a room upgrade and club access at a hotel in europe which was really nice.

At any rate when I use these QF hotel vouchers it's for non aligned hotels or places I do not have status with. The last one for example was for the ADL airport hotel, and another time in KUL. I would not use one for a chain where I was hoping to accrue status points.

I totally forgot about this perk and my birthday was back in March. Sent an email to Qantas Wine enquiring if I was still eligible for a $100 voucher since I'm a Points Club Plus member and they told me "no" since the promotion was launched on the 25/5/21 and vouchers were only sent post this date.

Feels like they have "penalised" me as my membership year runs from Jan - Dec and if I don't requalify for Points Club/Points Club Plus next year I won't get a voucher.

For what it's worth, it's 2 x $50 vouchers ($149 min spend) rather than a full $100 voucher, and they run a publicly available $25 voucher ($100 min spend) in your birthday month anyway.

That explains that 2500 bonus point mystery from last month!

Thanks Sudoer, guess it's not a big loss then

Used my $100 Points Club Plus hotel voucher last night. Happy to get a staycation for about $20 out of pocket!

Against my better judgement, SYD+1 used a voucher for a QLD trip that didn’t end up happening…

The vouchers are non-refundable if you cancel the booking but QF did give 1000 pts in lieu…(which will go towards next years PC equal).

Sorry to hear that. Yeah, I booked at like 6.30pm last night to be relatively sure it wouldn't be cancelled due to restrictions etc :)
Unlikely to be requalifying next year (even for PC, let alone plus), but happy to have enjoyed the $100 voucher.
Altogether I think I've used that, and maybe a lounge entry or two, in my PC membership, and had a few SCs roll over.
All in all pretty happy with this. Hope that QF continue to improve PC (as opposed to enhancing it) as time goes on.

Sounds like the best strategy if you know availabilty will be there.

I used mine by first paying in full a cancelable booking, then a few days before the trip, cancelled the booking and rebooked with the voucher as there were still hips of availabilities

I qualified for Points Club Plus in my last membership year. Now in my new membership year, I've obtained 150K points. I thought I would get a new $50 hotel voucher but FF says no. Is that correct?

Separately, is there a $50 voucher of some description for your birthday?

I had an idea.

Many of us find the Points Club/Points Club Plus benefits underwhelming. How about a new benefit - Points Club Plus members get access to the Hobart call centre?

That would be a benefit worth striving for.
